Travelogue: Photo Journal of Manchester, United Kingdom | Part 2

Following from part one of my choir trip last July, the second part of the trip was after our competition, when we travelled to Manchester for a few days before we fly back to Singapore. When I say I fell in love with that place, I mean everything, especially the buildings and scenery. Somehow, brick buildings seem to have something magical in them which makes them look so fascinating and mysterious.

Of course, this is a must, to have a photo with the iconic red telephone booth.

And this was our shopping heaven for that two days in Manchester! Everything was so cheap and pretty that we always went crazy, while shopping levels of clothes, bags, shoes and many more.

Visited China Town in Manchester for dinner on the first night, and the chinese food is really expensive over there. We ended up having an international buffet haha.

On the second day, we headed for the Manchester United Stadium, another must-go tourist spot! Not really a football fan or follower, but the thought that I have actually been there felt quite accomplished.

After lunch, some of us had to leave our hotel for the airport. Half of the choir extended their stay to travel more (in London etc) and sad me had to come back to Singapore. With this, our nine-days trip ended on an extremely pretty note, having won three champions for the categories which we took part in, and even as one of the five finalists for Choir of the World. One more year till World choir games in Latvia. Can't wait!
