Just because I have a badly planned timetable, my only two classes on Wednesdays are six hours apart. It is excruciatingly frustrating when you hate staying in school that long just to wait for the next class, yet finding time caught up in the middle when you head home and needed to head back to school again. Therefore, I decided to head out to Vista for a nice lunch before returning to school. Life's really good when you have good food isn't it.
Had a really relaxing one-hour break at a small little cafe round the corner of Vista. If not for the lunch crowd which streamed in thirty minutes after I set foot into the cafe, the experience would have been even better. Will definitely go back during the off-peak hours for a meal.
P.s The best thing about the cafe is that there is no GST.
| Traditional Eggs Benedict $13.90 |
Soft poached eggs drizzled in warm hollandaise sauce and served on a bed of wilted baby spinach and continental toast, served with Sauteed Mushrooms.
This is probably one of the best Eggs Benedict which I've tried (I''ll rank it second after Choupinette's). It comes with two runny and wobbly eggs, a generous portion of mushrooms and a warm blanket of Hollandaise sauce.
| Strawberry Milkshake $6 |
A little too milky and watery for my liking. I usually like my milkshake to be a little thicker and richer in taste.
To many more cafe-hopping days
