Griddy Gourmet Waffles & Miam Miam

Chasing away Monday blues with some catch-up time and eating-good-food time with Hui Jin. It is not the kind of cafe-setting that you would expect as it is one of those food and beverages stalls at the basement. However, the quality of the food is awesome I promise. We were real lucky that they were having a 50% off (check out the poster below) for one of the burgers that day, so we only had to pay $13++ for both sets.

| Griddy Burger $8.90 |
Beef Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheddar Cheese, Sauteed Mushrooms with classic waffle.
Served with Waffle fries

The waffle is the pandan kind you found in most bakeries. It's soft and a little sweet, perfect as a "burger" for the patty. Their generous portion and delicious patty won us over. The waffle fries were crispy and tasty. Something refreshing finally after seeing normal fries everywhere.

| Ocean Catch $7.90 |
Fish Cutlet, Lettuce, Tomato, Tartar sauce, Japanese Mayonnaise, Bonito Flakes with classic waffle.
Served with waffle fries

Nothing much needs to be said about this, just look at the photo. The fish cutlet is likely to be the best I've tried so far. The crispy exterior wraps around the tender meat and it just can't get any better. One best thing has got to be the bonito flakes that you usually see on top of your Takoyaki-balls.

Passed Hui Jin the couple tote and sling-tote set which I customised for her and vito. (P.s They are the boss and ladyboss of Mini Nature, which sells bottled terrarium and air plants).

Headed to Miam Miam for desserts just because their food looks brilliantly good from the menu itself.

| Iced Matcha Latte with Matcha Softee $8.80 |

| Famous French Toast $9.80 |
The french toast is indeed warm, soft and good. The maple syrup made it even more heavenly. However, I was really disappointed as I thought it comes with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Instead, it was a scoop of cream. Nevertheless, it was really tasty.

Do not hesitate to sit outside as the exterior of the cafe is cautiously and beautifully designed. Spend a good afternoon there with a book on hand and some nice tea and desserts on the other.
