Tea-time at Arteastiq

Met up with my secondary best friends last Friday at a beautiful cafe which consists of a tea house as well as a painting gallery at Mandarin Gallery. It is such a beautiful and elegant place perfect for a comfortable and cosy afternoon of tea, brunch and some catching up. The cafe seats are separated into two main areas: The ones near the window with pretty pastel armchairs and sofas (can be quite scorching in the afternoon but you get good lighting if you want to take photographs) and the cosy cafe corner (with dimmer lights and normal table-chairs setting). We met at 2.30pm and thank goodness they had all-day breakfast as we were famished.

Egg Benedict served with Arteastiq's unique lemon butter sauce with Portobello and ham

Like usual egg benedicts, this met the requirement of tasty bursting runny eggs, soft bread. On top of which, they added ham and portobello mushrooms! However, their unique lemon butter sauce was a little too sour for my liking. I much prefer the usual kind of hollandaise sauce.

| Prime Dawn $20.80 |
Pan-fried potato-brocoli medalion, Scrambled eggs and cheesy roasted tomato, with sausage

Nothing to complain about this dish except for probably the price. The mashed potato, scrambled eggs and sausage are awesome though.

A selfie to end off our friday date. Can't believe that we've known each other for almost 10 years already. "Good friends are like stars, you don't see them always but you know that they're always there." True enough, thank you for standing by me always :)
