Chye Seng Huat Hardware and Windowsill in the woods

Finally up for some cafe-hopping adventures after a zillion years. Cafe-hopped to Jalan Besar two weeks ago with two of my best uni buddies, Iris and Gladys, for some yummy food which we've all heard about: Chye Seng Huat Hardware for their coffee and brunches and Windowsill in the woods for their pies.

Hot Chocolate $6.50
My all-time-favourite hot chocolate drink.

Cold Brew Coffee $7

Tasted a little like cough medicine to me, but again, i don't like and don't drink coffee, so coffee-lovers, you might actually like it 'cos my friend loved it.

The Huat Breakfast $17

What's there not to love about scrambled eggs? Another plus point for this dish has got to be it's scoop of freshly made mashed potato.

Ham and Cheese French Toast $15

Sounds like a pretty common and cheap dish, but it is really delicious as the melted cheese is so melted that it tastes awesome together with the ham and toast.

Banana Pancake $12

Remember the flourless-banana-pancake which I did earlier this year? Well this is exactly the same but probably way much better than mine, and I really love how it is made from 100% banana flesh. Perfect for banana lovers.
