Sufood ; So Good

The Sufood Appetizer
A delicate trio of poached Japanese yuca root drizzled with a blueberry coulis, a stack of oriental, white water snowflake greens and a savory cherry tomato jelly.

Mushroom and Pea Pottage soup
Button, Shiitake and King Oyster mushrooms stewed with blended sweet peas.

Conchiglie Mushroom Bake
Lion's Mane mushrooms and asparagus oven-baked in a mild curry sauce with seashell pasta, topped with grilled cheddar cheese.

Banana Cheesecake
Banana cheesecake drizzled with blueberry sauce, accompanied with chocolate wafer roll.

With an interesting concept, they serve Italian-inspired Vegetarin cuisine. The ambience of the restaurant is very cosy and elegant with champagne color cushioned seats and mirror panels. Service was good as each waiter/waitress remembers what each customer has ordered, minimizing the awkwardness that always happens when the waiter comes to the table with a dish mumbling the dish name and we all look around to ask whose dish it is.

We went for the set lunch which costs $18++, inclusive of the appetizer, salad or soup, mains, dessert and a drink. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. The more extensive dinner set costs around $25++. For a reasonable price, we enjoyed an atas lunch feeling like tai-tais.

Ever since work begins, no longer had I the luxury of time to cafe-hop (yes, not even during weekends) or just to have a proper and satisfying meal. Day in, day out, I find myself doing hawker-hopping instead (Might be doing a post on hawker food for a change), checking out different hawker centres and food courts for cheap and good food with my colleagues.

That day, I had the opportunity to meet up with two lovely project group mates whom I've met during my last semester in a business module. Being fresh graduates like me, they have started working too. It was great catching up with them as we enjoy the freedom of an official employee, act atas by eating lunch together as working adults, and reminisce the studying days (or probably not).

Till happier days beyond graduation!
