Cafe visits: PARK Cafe and Jamaica Blue

Another mini collage of cafes that I've visited recently, PARK and Jamaica Blue. Have visited them before and you can read the previous posts here (PARK) and here (Jamaica Blue)

Met up with my uni project mate, adeline, one day after work for some catch-up over (instagrammable) food. Dining with her feels so much at ease just because I don't have to worry being judged for snapping food photos before I say my grace and before I start eating.

Crispy Juicy Chicken Honey Oat Burger + Truffle Fries + Mashed Potato

The chicken thigh is deep fried and juicy on the inside, though it did taste quite like an atas version of the KFC zinger burger. Mega love for the truffle fries and mashed potato, which is really smooth and potato-y.

I have a love and hate relationship with burgers in general (not talking about the fast food kind). They always look fabulous, stuffed, tall and definitely instagrammable, but when it comes to eating, it is just one word: Messy.

Lunching during lunch hour at CBD area is always a challenge. Fighting and chope-ing for seats is one problem. Having to beat the lunch crowd is one thing. Besides that, the food choices around your office become more or less limited after a while, and on some days, you might start to feel sick of the same food all over again. The woes of a working adult.

What makes lunch a little different is the company I get. Was really blessed to have the company of Gladys and Amanda that afternoon, over some good brunch menu. It was a lovely hour of fellowshipping and catching up.

Banana French Toast with Vanilla Ice-cream

Eggs Benedict with Ham
